Me tope con un sitio muy útil, se trata de un generador online de paquetes 3d, si tienes algún diseño de: paquete cd, caja o paquete dvd y te pidieron un preview en 3d o tu mismo quieres darte una idea de como se van a ver tus propuestas de diseño y comparar, ya sabes en donde puedes hacerlo.
Lo único que tienes que hacer es agregar en imagenes jpg, tu frente, vuelta, lomo y parte alta del empaque, y este sitio automáticamente generará un modelo 3d de tu diseño, te puede ahorrar bastante tiempo además de darte una idea de como se verá tu diseño ya armado. También cuenta con la función de girar al mover tu mouse y mantener presionado el botón izquierdo, así que puedes visualizar tu empaque desde varios angulos en segundos, al final puedes exportar tus previews en .gif, .jpg y.png

Que tal, después de algunos problemillas de mantenimiento con mi sitio ayer, ya estoy de regreso y esta vez les traigo un sitio que se me hizo super curioso y chido, se trata de Paper Critters un lugar donde mediante un programa Flash, puedes crear personajes de papel.
Para crear tus personajes tienen opciones como pinceles, ponerle ojos, nariz, boca, formas, cambiar de color el fondo, también cuenta con con zoom, la opción de undo, clear, etc., al final en la opción preview puedes ver tu personaje en 3d que gira para el lado que desees.
Cuando acabes de jugar con estas herramientas puedes mandarlo a imprimir, esta impresión saldrá con pestañas y puntos de recorte y pegado por default,omo pueden ver esta coqueto el sitio, se los recomiendo:

Todos sabemos del evento Campus Party que se acaba de llevar en México, para saber que tal estuvo pensé en compartirles la experiencia vivida por Norberto Hernández (excelente programador web y diseñador gráfico) en lo que fue este evento:
“Este año me tocó ser uno de los afortunados de asistir a uno de los eventos de tecnología más importantes -incluso creo que es el más importante- en México: La Campus Party México.
De manera breve, Campus Party es un evento organizado por una Asociación nacida en España llama E3 Futura, con ediciones -por ahora- en España, Brasil, México y Colombia. Este evento nace en primera instancia por la necesidad de tener eventos como los tradicionales ‘LAN Parties’ en los que la gente por medio de una red local intercambian archivos, combinado con charlas y talleres referentes a temáticas que tienen que ver con la tecnología; por ello la parte de ‘Campus’, haciendo referencia a ‘campus educativo’ o ‘escuela’.
Este año México rompió récord de asistencia metiendo a más de 6000 y con una conexión auspiciada por Telefónica de 10 gb para todos los que estuvimos ahí. El año pasado el numero de asistentes fue de 3567, por lo que este año se supero por mucho.Los contenidos están divididos en varias categorías con sus respectivas subcategorías:
-Ciencia: Astronomía y Espacio, CampusBot, Modding y Electrónica.
-Cultura Digital: Social Media, Diseño, Fotografía, Video y Música.
-Innovación: Desarrolladores, Software Libre, Seguridad y Redes
-Ocio Digital: Juegos y Simulación
Dentro de cada área se llevaron a cabo talleres y charlas por parte de reconocidos ponentes de cada área. Para que se den una idea de la calidad de contenidos y la talla del evento, este año hubo charlas magistrales por parte de gente como:
- Steve Wozniak (cofundador de Apple)
- Kevin Mitnik (famoso exhacker ahora consultor en seguridad)
- Akira Yamaoka (famoso compositor de música para videojuegos y series de televisión)
- Ben Hammersley (editor de la famosa revista Wired)
- Kul Wadhwa (Director general Wikipedia)
- Hector Mijangos (fundador de Noiselab)
Otros expositores de relevancia que participaron en Campus Party México este año: Eduardo Arcos de la red de blogs Hipertextual, Raúl Ramirez de Isopixel.net, Javier Matuk, Humberto Velez (la voz de Homero Simpson), Bostich y Fussible de Nortec, entre muchos muchos otros. El evento duró 7 días y créanme que valió la pena estar durmiendo en las incómodas casas de campaña -casi olvido mencionarlo, había zona de camping- que Movistar patrocinó. Los contenidos se llevan un 10 de calificación, al igual que la organización del evento.

“This year I had to be one of those fortunate enough to attend one of the most important technology events, even I dare to say is the most important “in Mexico: Mexico Campus Party.
Briefly, Campus Party is an event organized by an association born in Spain called E3 Futura, with editions-for now-in Spain, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia. DeviantART Muro es un software de dibujo que puede utilizarse desde cualquier navegador compatible con HTML5. Tiene herramientas básicas que encuentras en programas de dibujo, la cubeta, el pincel y otras como difuminado, opacidad, desidad etc. que son más avanzadas al estilo de photoshop , se puede usar de modo básico (es más rápido y sencillo) o pro (más herramientas con más capas y pinceles), pero si deseas usar aún más herramientas o brushes tienes que crear una cuenta y comprarlos.
Es compatible con dispositivos externos como el iPad y permite la instalación de plugins extras, al final puedes exportar el archivo en PNG y te lo abre un poco más grande en una ventana nueva de tu explorador ya solo le das guardar como y listo.
Me pareció muy interesante, preciso y práctico poder realizar este tipo de cosas por internet, nos puede servir para crear bocetos rápidos, lo mejor de todo es que no tienes que descargar el programa, todo através de internet, les recomiendo que lo chequen:

It has basic tools that are in drawing programs, bucket, brush and other like blur, opacity, etc. that are more advanced kinda like photoshop style, can be used in basic mode (it’s quick and easy) or pro (more tools with more layers and brushes), but if you want even more brushes you can create an account and buy them.
This software is compatible with external devices such as the IPAD and allows installation of extra plugins, when you finish your draw you can export in PNG the file and I’ll open in a new window of your browser so you can save it.
I found it very interesting, clear and practical to perform this sort of thing on the Internet, it may be useful to create quick sketches and the best of all, you do not have to download the program, I recommend that you check it out:
